About

Challenge Pick is a high-stakes "Reflex-Sampling" skill game. The technical core involves "Rotational-Intercept Logic." Players must retrieve objects or interact with targets that are moving in complex, oscillating patterns (spinning wheels, sliding bars). It tests "Anticipatory Timing," requiring the player to click milliseconds before the target aligns with the collector to account for input latency and animation speed.

Controls

You are presented with a spinning or moving container holding an object. Your goal is to "Pick" or grab the object without hitting the moving barriers. Interaction is "Single-Tap." Tapping extends a hand/claw. If you hit the gap, you win; if you hit the barrier, you fail. The difficulty scales by increasing rotational velocity (ω) and introducing "Variable Speed" patterns (stop-and-go motion).

Strategy

Mastering the pick depends on "Rhythm Locking." Do not track the target visually; track the "Safe Zone" (the gap). Count the rhythm of the rotation (e.g., "tick, tick, NOW"). A pro strategy is to "Lead the Gap"—tap when the gap is at the 10 o'clock position (assuming clockwise rotation) to ensure your picker lands exactly at 12 o'clock. Patience is vital; wait for the rotation to stabilize before committing.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why did I hit the wall even though I timed it right?

A: The "Hitbox" of the picker has width. If you aim for the very edge of the gap, you will clip the wall. Aim for the "Dead Center" of the opening for safety.

Q: Does the speed change mid-level?

A: Yes. In "Hard Mode," the wheel will randomly reverse direction or accelerate. You must stay reactive and abandon your rhythm count if the pattern shifts.
