Balanced Running

Balanced Running is a "Physics-Equilibrium Runner" that gamifies the concept of "Center of Mass." Unlike standard lane-runners, the core mechanic is "Gyroscopic Stabilization." The character runs on narrow beams, pipes, and slacklines. The physics engine constantly applies lateral torque (tipping force) based on movement speed and wind. The player must actively counter-steer to keep the character's vector aligned with the platform's center axis.

Control a ragdoll runner on a high-altitude obstacle course. Your objective is to reach the finish line without falling. Interaction involves "Slide-to-Balance." Dragging left/right doesn't move the character's feet; it shifts their upper body weight. You must counter the tilt. If the character leans right, drag left to correct. You must navigate jumping over gaps and dodging swinging pendulums while maintaining this delicate balance.

Walking the tightrope requires "Micro-Correction Sensitivity." Do not make large, sudden swipes; this leads to "Over-Correction," causing you to swing wildly to the other side and fall. Use "Short, Tapping Adjustments" to keep the character upright. A pro strategy for speed: "The Forward Lean." While risky, keeping your character slightly tilted forward (if controls allow) or maintaining high momentum actually increases stability on straight beams due to the physics of forward inertia smoothing out lateral jitters.
